Finally - Photos Taken!

Although the rains have finally stopped, there is still no sun. But with some lighting strategically placed I was able to get photos of our new cards. Here is a sample of what will get posted on Etsy over the next couple of days. Hope you like!

Rainy days and Mondays...

Another rainy Monday in New England.  But I was able to get a lot of work done.  I have quite a few new cards ready for photography - as soon as we see the sun again!  Then I'll be able to post them in my Etsy store, here and on Facebook!

And once I have the new photos I'll spotlight my business partner - Annie!!  She designs the most beautiful layouts. And I've learned so much from her.  Because she's the "behind the scenes" part of pamannie ink no one gets a chance to know her.  And she's a wonderful lady to get to know!

Let's hope for sun tomorrow!

Saturday

What a lovely Saturday!  Started out with a call from Annie - who had a 20% off total purchase (including sales-priced!) coupon for Joanne's.  Off we went and had a blast choosing all kinds of fun embellishments, paper and other "must haves"!
Then home, to where my husband had a Dunkin' iced coffee waiting for me.  Ah, ain't love grand...Into my stamping room where I actually did some things that were on my to-do list. Four beautiful wine bottle gift tags (to be listed soon), a color chart for my inks and lots of organizing.
Now to my computer where I can lose myself in cyber-world.  Henry watching TV, Paul watching a video, and the sun is still shining.  And no cooking dinner tonight!
Hope everyone had a wonderful Saturday, too.  And a better Sunday tomorrow!

Learning the ropes

Good afternoon!  My day job is done and I couldn't wait to get to the computer.  I learned how to add pictures to my blog today.  Hurray!  Thanks means I can show you some of the great talent I see every day on Etsy & Facebook.

First up - my sister - Debs Designs.  You can find Deb at http://debsdesigns401.etsy.com/.  Deb started designing and making jewelry only a few short years ago.  Her talent has grown steadily and her eye for color and design keeps getting better.  Look at a couple of her awesome pieces.

Deb adds new pieces to her Etsy shop nearly every day.  Make it a habit to check out her store!  You can also find Deb at http://www.facebook.com/pages/wwwdebsdesigns401etsycom/111322968564   and you can follow her on Twitter - www.twitter.com/debsdesigns401.  Go ahead - you can thank me later...

First of Many

Well, I've been considering doing this for a while and I think the time is now. This blog will be some of this and a little of that. I'd like to talk about my card making and the fun I'm having with it. I'll also shine the spotlight on some of the awesome work I've discovered through Etsy & Facebook. But I'll occassionally throw in some of my day to day life, too.
To begin ~ my friend Annie (the other half of pamannie ink) discovered the joys of stamping several years ago and became a demonstrator for Stampin' Up. I hosted a party and stamped a couple of times, but only to support my friend. I didn't really enjoy it, it "wasn't my thing". But I kept buying the products (yes, I'm a shopaholic) and began to notice that it was kind of fun. It raapidly moved into lots of fun and we began doing craft & artisan shows last year. pamannie ink was born. We now have an Etsy shop which can be found at http://pamannie.etsy.com/. And a Facebook Fan Page at http://facebook.com/pamannieink. Stop by and say "hi".

OK - I'll save a little for the next post :)
